Raising the STANDARD for individualized Chiropractic Care

Our Mission

YOU WANT TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE, LET US HELP YOU UNLOCK THE DOORS TO LIVE IT

MISSION

At Signature Spine and Sport, we have combined services with Integrated Physiotherapy to place an emphasis on putting each patient and their needs first. Each patient we treat strive for a healthy lifestyle and in order to do that we address each area of concern.

Our mission is to help each patient by providing INDIVIDUALIZED care so they can sustain a healthy and active lifestyle. We are bridging the gap between chiropractic care, physical therapy and fitness in the GREATER Charleston area.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

Signature Spine & Sport is different than your typical "in & out" chiropractor. It is our mission to heal our patients as quickly as possible WITHOUT major care plans that COST thousands of dollars. We are able to do this by different types of techniques, manual therapies and combining chiropractic care with physical therapy care.

  1. APPOINTMENT LENGTH. We spend more time with our patients to ensure individualized care of our patients is rendered thoroughly and effectively. Appointments are between 15 to 60 minutes, depending on your case.

  2. NO INSURANCE = NO PROBLEM. Eliminating this factor from your care allows us to treat our patients to the best of our ability. If you do have insurance we are "in network" with selected companies.

  3. COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT. We understand the limitations in each treatment technique and know each patient is different. Patients respond uniquely to various forms of treatment. Our treatments encompass the most recent research and provide combination of chiropractic manipulation, rehabilitation/corrective exercise, and manual soft tissue therapies to ensure the best result.

  4. EDUCATION. Many patients are cautious or concerned with seeing chiropractors due to the “popping” or “cracking”. that accompanies chiropractic adjustments. While the  "pop" has been researched and found completely safe for most patients, if it's a concern for you we are trained in other techniques to aid in restricted joints without the “pop”. We are very conscious and care about the concerns of our patients and emphasize patient comfort first with every visit.

Benefits:

  • Reduce muscle pain

  • Reduce muscle stiffness

  • Reduce muscle tension

Assisted STRETCH THERAPY + MyoFascial Release

Stretch therapy is an advanced form of flexibility training that lowers the risk of injury. It also decreases recovery time and increases performance. PNF stretching reduces muscle and joint pain and decreases stress.

MyoFascial release treats myofascial pain syndrome. Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain disorder caused by sensitivity and tightness in your myofascial tissues.

PERCUSSION THERAPY

Percussion therapy stimulates the receptors in the soft tissue through constant micro contractions of the muscles resulting in relief of tension in the musculoskeletal system.

Benefits:

  • Reduced muscle stiffness

  • Reduced soreness

  • Improved circulation in soft tissues
